About The Position

Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting critical federal missions. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect who thrives at the intersection of technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and large-scale digital modernization. As a trusted technical leader, you will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, delivery teams, and executive leadership to design secure, scalable, and innovative Salesforce-based solutions that drive mission outcomes across the federal government.

Requirements

  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.
  • ELIGIBLE TO ACQUIRE AND MAINTAIN GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE.
  • ASSOCIATE DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE.
  • 12+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING SALESFORCE OR COMPARABLE ENTERPRISE SAAS SOLUTIONS
  • 5+ YEARS LEADING ARCHITECTURE AND DEVELOPMENT OF COMPLEX ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS
  • DEMONSTRATED EXPERTISE IN: ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE, SYSTEM INTEGRATIONS, PLATFORM SECURITY, SCALABILITY AND PERFORMANCE, APPLICATION LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT, PLATFORM GOVERNANCE
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect (required)
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect (required)
  • Must reside and work within the United States
  • Ability to be remote outside of the Washington DC area, must be able to work during EST business hours

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government agencies
  • Experience leading large-scale Salesforce modernization programs
  • Knowledge of federal security frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Experience with DevSecOps, API-led integrations, and cloud-native architectures
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or pursuit of CTA certification
  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, or Government Cloud implementations
  • Preference for local hybrid ability in the Washington DC metro area

Responsibilities

  • Work on high-visibility federal transformation initiatives
  • Influence enterprise architecture strategy and solution direction
  • Collaborate with talented architects, engineers, and business leaders
  • Contribute to innovation, thought leadership, and solution development
  • Lead architecture and technical design for complex Salesforce implementations and modernization initiatives
  • Define enterprise solution architectures across Salesforce platforms and integrated technologies
  • Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
  • Design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with federal requirements
  • Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Develop integration strategies across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise systems
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate mission and business requirements into technical solutions
  • Mentor development teams and emerging architects
  • Support proposal efforts, solution development, innovation initiatives, and technology strategy discussions
  • Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, and governance requirements
