Presently this position is in a hybrid status with a minimum of 1 day per month in the office for collaboration, teamwork, and business needs. The status and minimum in-office requirements are subject to change based on evolving business needs. Overview This position plays a key role in supporting the design, governance, and continuous improvement of our global Salesforce ecosystem. Serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, this role helps ensure that Salesforce solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with strategic business objectives. Working under the guidance of senior architects, the Junior Salesforce Architect assists with translating business requirements into well‑designed technical solutions, contributes to architectural assessments and platform best practices, and supports reliable, secure system performance across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent work experience required
  • Required certifications: Salesforce Certified Application Architect credential or be actively on the journey toward Application Architect by holding a mixture of the below certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant Salesforce Certified Agent Force Specialist
  • 5 ~ 7 years of Direct experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, serving in roles such as a Salesforce Implementation Consultant, Senior Business Analyst, or Senior Salesforce Administrator required.
  • Ability to contribute to requirements discovery sessions by asking clarifying questions, identifying edge cases, and ensuring alignment between business requirements and solution design.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce declarative capabilities, with the ability to assess when programmatic or custom development solutions are required.
  • Foundational understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including data modeling, data governance, security/sharing models, platform limits, scalability, and performance considerations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce design and integration patterns, including API-based integrations and system interoperability concepts.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on designing scalable, maintainable, and sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts, trade-offs, and architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using work management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) to review user stories, track progress, and ensure delivery aligns with architectural standards.
  • Proficiency with standard business documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) to document solution designs and communicate decisions effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to AI-enabled capabilities within Salesforce, with an understanding of data governance, integrity, and business impact considerations.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design: Assist in designing scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions. Create and present design diagrams, including process flows, data models, and system integration maps.
  • Solution Discovery & Validation: Participate in discovery conversations with business stakeholders to understand context, goals, and constraints, and to surface architectural considerations. You will help validate that proposed solutions are valuable, viable, and feasible before development begins.
  • Requirements Gathering: Participate in business workshops to understand approved business requirements and clarify functional expectations. Translate validated requirements into solution-oriented designs and support the creation and refinement of user stories by ensuring alignment with architectural intent and technical constraints.
  • Solution Design & Implementation: Design scalable, high‑performance Salesforce solutions and translate architectural decisions into practical implementation. Create and maintain solution artifacts such as process flows, data models, and integration diagrams, and implement solutions using an appropriate mix of declarative tools, Flows, and programmatic components (Apex, Lightning Web Components) when required to support well‑architected, maintainable designs.
  • Governance & Best Practices: Support the enforcement of Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and data governance policies to ensure platform integrity and minimize technical debt.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Act as a true partner to our business and technology teams, moving beyond order-taking to collaboratively shape solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • Integration Support: Assist in the analysis and design of complex integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, such as Data Lakes and various ERPs.
