Wesley Financial Group•Franklin, TN
•Onsite

About The Position

Wesley Financial Group is hiring a Salesforce Architect to own its production Salesforce platform and lead a two-year effort to move selected workloads to platforms the company builds and owns. Approximately 350 people in sales and client resolution use Salesforce. The role sets the target-state architecture, data model, and roadmap for Salesforce and its successor platforms, and serves as the design authority for platform changes. The architect will guide three developers and external implementation partners, work directly with leaders and end users to understand business needs, and deliver solutions that are adopted. The role is hands-on, including development in Flow and Apex and ownership of integrations. It also owns platform security, sharing, SSO, vendor relationships, upgrades, and AppExchange applications. The position reports to the Director of Development and is based on-site in Franklin, Tennessee. U.S.-based candidates only; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Requirements

  • Experience owning a production Salesforce organization, with substantial knowledge of Flow, Apex, and SOQL.
  • Good judgment about when declarative Salesforce tools are preferable to code.
  • Led or played a major role in a platform migration and understands data-migration risks.
  • Daily use of AI tools, with the ability to identify errors before they reach production and awareness of responsible use.
  • Experience reducing technical debt without disrupting production.
  • Good judgment concerning sensitive client data, particularly in AI workflows.
  • Live in Middle Tennessee or be moving there, and be able to work on-site in Franklin regularly.

Nice To Haves

  • Curiosity about platforms beyond Salesforce; for example, having experimented with Twenty or another open-source CRM.

  • Manage vendor relationships, platform upgrades, and AppExchange applications, including DocuSign, Omnito, Goat Email, Distribution Engine, and OwnBackup.
  • Help shape and execute a two-year roadmap to move selected workloads off Salesforce.
  • Determine which workloads stay, move, and in what order; migrate data without disrupting sales-floor operations.
  • Make build, buy, or keep decisions for AppExchange applications and major workloads.
  • Work with leaders in sales, client resolution, and finance to understand needs and turn them into solutions that ship and are used.
  • Guide three developers and implementation partners.
  • Set review standards, test coverage, and Copado deployment controls.
  • Develop hands-on in Flow and Apex, using AI tools where appropriate.
  • Build and own integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite, Five9, the Wesley Client Portal, and future systems.
  • Select and work with integration approaches and tools including n8n, Zapier, REST and Bulk APIs, and direct callouts.
