Position Summary: Discovery is looking for a talented and passionate Salesforce Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will provide administrative and technical support for our Salesforce.com ecosystem. This role combines hands-on technical support with opportunities for professional development and growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in technical support and/or systems administration
  • 1-3 years of experience with Salesforce.com as an administrator or power user
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce.com functionality and best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
  • Exposure to Salesforce security settings, profiles, and permission sets
  • Basic data management skills including imports, exports, and data quality
  • Willingness to learn Flow Builder, DevOps, Agent Force and modern Salesforce features
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures
  • Self-motivated with eagerness to learn and develop technical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201) certification preferred or willingness to obtain within first year

Responsibilities

  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, and other routine tasks
  • Manage complex user permissions and profiles
  • Create and customize objects, workflows, record types, page layouts, fields (including advanced formulas and lookups), apps, tabs, profiles, security, and approval processes
  • Perform quality testing and validation of standard and custom environments
  • Create and develop automation within Salesforce
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
  • Work with Salesforce Administration team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development
