About The Position

The Sales Warehouse Supervisor oversees the accurate, efficient, and timely picking, packing, staging, and shipping of finished copper tubing products in response to customer orders. This role acts as the key liaison between the warehouse and sales/order management teams, ensuring that outgoing shipments meet quality, quantity, and customer-specific requirements. The supervisor is responsible for leading a small team of warehouse technicians and coordinating with logistics and transportation partners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
  • 1+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or metals (copper or tubing industry preferred)
  • Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Forklift certified and experienced with other material handling equipment (pallet jacks, RF scanners)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of shipping documents and customer order processing

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all warehouse activities related to sales order fulfillment, including order picking, product staging, loading, labeling, and shipment.
  • Coordinate daily tasks to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to prioritize urgent orders and resolve fulfillment issues.
  • Ensure finished goods inventory is properly organized, rotated, and scanned for accurate record-keeping.
  • Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, packaging standards, and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain shipping logs, delivery documentation, and ERP data entry to ensure traceability and accountability.
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff, including assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance.
  • Conduct daily safety checks and enforce company policies on PPE, equipment operation, and safe material handling.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule pickups and ensure shipping documents (BOLs, packing lists, labels) are prepared correctly.
  • Identify process improvements in the warehouse related to layout, labor utilization, and shipping accuracy.
