About The Position

3 Day Blinds is a national retailer and manufacturer of custom-made blinds, shades, draperies, and shutters, and is part of the Hunter Douglas family of brands. This full-time opportunity trains candidates to become Design Consultants who meet clients in their homes, help them select custom window treatments, and guide them through a purchase decision. The role includes company-provided appointments, three weeks of paid training, and uncapped commission potential. No prior design experience is required.

Requirements

• Enjoy building relationships and helping people make decisions.
• Be motivated by performance and uncapped earning potential.
• Be confident, coachable, and comfortable working independently in the field.
• Be organized and able to manage multiple appointments across the week.
• Be flexible to work at least one weekend day and four days during the week.
• Have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling locally.
• No prior design experience is required; training is provided.

• Experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, retail, or another fast-paced client-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients in their homes to understand their needs and recommend custom window treatments.
• Create design solutions tailored to each client's style and budget.
• Guide clients through the buying process and close sales in the home.
• Manage appointments, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Generate additional business through referrals and local networking.
• Deliver an exceptional experience from the first visit through final installation.
