About The Position

State Electric Supply Co. is seeking a dedicated and motivated Sales Trainee to join their team in Rock Hill, SC. This full-time position involves working directly with Rockwell Automation specialists to support the sales of various service offerings within the product line. The role offers a comprehensive training program designed to provide a strong understanding of wholesale distribution operations.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Basic PC skills.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Good organizational skills with attention to detail and record keeping.
Ability to prioritize and respond professionally and quickly to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints.
Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities

Rotate through various positions within a wholesale distributor (receiving, shipping, counter sales, inside sales, quotations) to gain knowledge of operations.
Handle customer requests, questions, and needs in a variety of support roles.
Provide specific information regarding the use of products and services offered by State Electric under guidance from experienced team members.
Generate quotations and enter orders for products.
Build rapport with customers to develop sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships.
