About The Position

A field-based selling role focused on high potential accounts, including calling on large distributors. Responsible for achieving sales targets by prospecting and growing new and existing customers in a specified territory.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year College or University; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Travel Required

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a representative of the company in the field while targeting high opportunity accounts and prospects to grow revenue.
  • Prospect, validate, and convert new high opportunity prospects by identifying and targeting appropriate influencers and positioning the company appropriately vs. the competition.
  • Penetrate and grow high-opportunity accounts by identifying new capabilities and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Proactively manage opportunities through scheduled sales visits with clear agendas, targeted outcomes, and post-call follow-up activities.
  • Keep account information updated in CRM, including competitive information, opportunity metrics, brand and parts focus to inform account strategy.
  • Understand customer business objectives and translate into differentiated advantage.
  • Keep current with company offerings, value advantage, and competitive landscape.
  • Visit medium opportunity accounts as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
