Responsible for planning and executing marketing initiatives in order to generate new retail insurance agency customer base as well as promoting/retaining existing customer base. This role involves managing new or enhanced business opportunities through agent recruitment and servicing existing agent relationships. The Sales Territory Manager will work with management to develop targeted marketing plans, materials, agent distribution, and messages that align with the organization's marketing strategy. A key aspect of the role is developing a thorough understanding of the products and services offered, and creating short and long-term marketing and sales plans. The position requires making presentations to agents for business growth opportunities, evaluating product and service marketability, and handling inbound lead inquiries. The Sales Territory Manager is expected to meet or exceed established marketing sales and budgetary goals, maintain records of marketing visits and presentations, and report on their effectiveness. Staying current with industry trends, target markets, and competition is crucial. The role also involves assisting with planning and attending trade shows and association meetings, enhancing and maintaining the company website, tracking invoices, assisting with office support duties, and maintaining marketing material inventory. Compliance with FCC and other legal requirements regarding marketing distribution is also a responsibility.
