About The Position

The Sales Team Member provides a positive and efficient customer experience in an assigned area or zone. The role focuses on customer service, maintaining merchandise availability and sales-floor standards, supporting price changes and department recovery, and assisting with registers and merchandise operations as needed. The position requires a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers and provide Best in Class service.
• Keep endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items full and in stock.
• Maintain customer-ready sales-floor standards by keeping shelves, rail tops, displays, and kick plates clean.
• Assist with in-store price changes, including regular, clearance, and sale prices.
• Complete nightly department recovery by fronting and facing shelves, sweeping and cleaning, and filling critical products.
• Train in cash-register functionality and promptly assist at a register when customer demand requires.
• Assist with merchandise resets, visual-display maintenance, housekeeping, and coordinating freight flow to ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor.
• Promote Fleet Farm’s customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
