About The Position

COBS Bread is seeking a personable Sales Team Leader to join their team. This role focuses on providing customers with a great in-bakery experience and sharing enthusiasm for baked goods. The Sales Team Leader will work various hours, including weekends and holidays, with open availability required due to operating hours from Monday to Sunday 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Fridays and Saturdays 7:30 am to 8:30 pm, with extended hours during the Christmas season. The starting wage is $20.00 per hour, with the final wage determined by experience.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the baking, food production, food service, or hospitality industry.
• Takes pride in providing a great and personable experience for customers.
• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and enjoys learning new skills.
• Team player who is approachable and likes working with people.
• Open availability for various hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to cover sick calls and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant retail experience.
• Experience in handling cash, credit card, and debit transactions.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a small team, providing an exceptional customer experience, and getting to know regular, loyal customers.
• Be responsible for merchandising product and executing marketing campaigns.
• Support, motivate, and manage the small team to meet sales goals.
• Keep the bakery clean.
• Assist with production as needed, including learning how to bake.
