About The Position

As our Sales Tax Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely state tax filings while maintaining compliance with varying regulations. This role is designed to evolve. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to master state tax compliance first and open to learning additional responsibilities over time.

Requirements

• Proven experience with data entry and basic accounting principles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities

• Preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual state tax returns
• Ensuring compliance with varying state regulations and deadlines
• Managing state correspondence, including emails and phone calls
• Maintaining organized digital and physical records of all filings
• Performing data entry and supporting basic accounting functions
• Adapting to evolving procedures and identifying process improvements
