About The Position

This entry-level, part-time Sales Support position is based at Fastenal’s branch at 121 Logistics Dr, Gaffney, SC 29341. The role assists customers and supports sales in a fast-paced, challenging environment. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for 10–28 hours per week. Fastenal describes itself as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies with more than 3,000 servicing locations. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the work.
Have a current, full, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated licensing program, and meet the driving-record requirements for using a company vehicle as needed.
Possess or be working toward a degree in Business or Marketing, or have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Show a strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and sometimes up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen, where applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
