The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the sales team by ensuring accurate order processing, timely communication, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  • Enter, track, and follow up on returns, credits, and open orders
  • Cross-reference customer requirements to accurately generate quotes and process orders
  • Review customer instructions and technical part requirements with a high level of detail
  • Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email to provide updates and support
  • Source products from vendors to fulfill customer orders when necessary
  • Assist with internal processes including approvals, reports, and documentation
  • Provide tracking information and required documentation to customers upon request
  • Expedite urgent (“hot”) orders to meet customer or job site deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with operations to ensure accurate and timely shipments
  • Support the sales team through consistent communication and proactive follow-up
  • Verify order accuracy prior to shipment to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain organized records and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
