About The Position

Future Tech Enterprise is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team. As the Sales Support Specialist, you will work closely with our account team to provide valuable customer support, building excellent relationships with our customers, sales staff, and technology vendors. This position has responsibilities that include working with a government contractor; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required. This is a full-time role, on-site at our Fort Lauderdale HQ. The work hours are Monday through Friday. 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM. Benefit offerings include: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401k with company match and Paid Time off.

Requirements

  • At least one year of business-to-business account/service, or related, experience
  • Solid problem-solving acumen and skill
  • Self-driven, motivated, and extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational and PC skills
  • Must excel in a fast-paced environment, focused on driving customer satisfaction
  • Solid communication skills – written and verbal
  • Must be well-versed in MS Excel and other Office applications.
  • Ability to work remotely
  • This position has responsibilities that include working with a government contractor; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • ERP or SAP experience is a plus
  • An understanding and knowledge of servers, storage, basic networking, and computers will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of IT OEM and distribution channels is also a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Interacting professionally with customers on operational issues, projects, and contracts, handling routine matters with vendors, and liaising with internal departments
  • Building excellent relationships with Future Tech's sales staff, our customers, and technology vendors
  • Working with OEMs and distributors to compile competitively priced IT product quotes
  • Preparing quotes, proposals, special bid pricing, and deal registrations
  • Communicating with customers to gather requirements/specifications information
  • Appropriately escalating critical issues and providing timely updates to customers and management
