About The Position

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting many facets of the Sales Team. This role requires high-quality, reliable service, while demonstrating clear, positive communication with both customers and team members. This individual contributes to a collaborative work environment and applies strong industry knowledge to effectively meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • HVAC experience in relation to equipment and materials (Required)
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent reasoning ability and sound judgement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity
  • Able to pass a drug test and background screening
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Quote, prepare, and place orders for Territory Managers
  • Determine the make, type, quality and availability of desired merchandise and make suggestions that meet the customer’s needs and drive sales over the phone
  • Ensure successful transfer of materials/equipment if needed for customer orders
  • Estimate date of deliveries based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules
  • Follow through on fulfillment to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Actively engage daily with customers and Territory Managers over the phone or by email in a timely manner
  • Additional responsibilities may be required based on customer needs
