About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to support our International Sales Team. This role is responsible for managing and growing existing customer accounts while delivering high-level sales coordination and customer support. The Sales Support Specialist works cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Care to ensure seamless onboarding, accurate order fulfillment, and long-term customer success. This position plays a critical role in strengthening global client relationships and identifying opportunities for account growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or account management
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to adapt to new systems, processes, and changing business needs

  • Experience supporting international customers or global sales teams
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems
  • Background in order management, supply chain coordination, or sales operations

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer orders with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor open orders to ensure on-time delivery and proactive issue resolution
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and internal stakeholders to maintain inventory flow, pricing accuracy, and customer inventory integrations
  • Prepare and provide quotes, order updates, and status reports for ongoing customer projects
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned international customer accounts
  • Troubleshoot order, pricing, and delivery issues while providing timely resolutions
  • Escalate complex or recurring issues to leadership when necessary
  • Build strong working relationships with customers to support retention and account growth
  • Maintain accurate customer, order, and sales data within Salesforce and related systems
  • Document all customer interactions in accordance with company standards
  • Track sales activities and performance metrics using workforce management and reporting tools
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide actionable recommendations
