About The Position

The Sales Support Specialist provides a high level of support to Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) across pre- and post-sales activities, ensuring accurate information is processed to advance future sales and quotes. This role is integral to maintaining pipeline integrity, coordinating with internal teams and factories, and delivering the information needed to secure customer commitments. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management required or preferred, or equivalent experience in a similar work environment
  • 3–5 years of inside sales or administrative experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Accustomed to a fast-paced work environment
  • Knowledge of Excel, SAP, and Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Ability to generate quotes using technology and available resources
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal assistance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; will communicate frequently with internal and external customers and partners to deliver end-to-end sales solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in Japanese (read, write, and speak) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team with quote generation
  • Support the sales team in maintaining their pipeline in Salesforce.com, updating data once leads and customers are entered by RSMs
  • Help the sales team review and confirm BDL (cost) and specifications
  • Complete order packages and submit to operations for processing
  • Maintain sales item inventory
  • Communicate with factories to obtain information requested by the sales team in order to provide customers with the details needed to secure a sale
  • Maintain the customer screening document process in Salesforce.com and support the sales team as needed
  • Maintain documentation received from the factory by saving it in the appropriate folder in a timely manner and sharing information as needed
  • Maintain documentation used for various sales activities
  • Other duties as assigned
