About The Position

This position supports the Area Sales Manager by providing end-to end administrative support for the entire sales cycle across all Marine commercial products, with the primary goal of increasing the productivity of the Sales team to achieve and/or exceed business goals. Within this role you will be monitoring and updating your Area Sales Manager’s opportunity pipeline, coordinating the execution of new agreements and renewals, and troubleshooting issues both internally and with customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Transportation preferred
  • Experience in sales support, customer service, inside sales or similar support roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, willing to learn and strong team player
  • Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Salesforce or similar CRM platform, DocuSign) required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Transportation industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end administrative support for the sales cycle including pipeline management, proposal development, opportunity updates, and monitoring the quote approval process
  • Maintain customer folders with backup documentation and approvals
  • Maintain Account and contact records in Salesforce
  • Coordinates contract requests and amendments with our legal team
  • Manage contract and renewal execution via DocuSign
  • Work closely with the respective ASMs and internal resources to escalate any issues that could impact our ability to close opportunities
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of DCLI offerings and Marketing materials
  • Gain in-depth understanding of all sales processes, including new term leases and contract renewals
  • Assist with data integrity and audit efforts for the new leasing operating system and on-going related tasks
  • Process Improvements & SOP's
  • Salesforce ad-hoc reporting
  • As required, make outbound calls to potential customers, explaining initial requirements, and working closely with internal resources to close the sale
