The main mission of the Sales Support Representative is to provide support to the sales team and provide a customer experience of exceptional quality. Within a unique and dynamic industry, the Sales Support Representative will answer customer calls and emails while performing various administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • College/Cegep degree with science background is an asset
  • One plus (1+) year of call center or sales support environment experience or
  • Three (3) to five (5) years customer service experience
  • Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Ability to upsell products and services
  • Strong listening skills, very customer focused and professional.
  • Analytical, multitasking and time management skills
  • Excellent team working, motivational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates values and has the ability to make connections, build trust and be authentic
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel) required
  • Experience working with a CRM (Creatio an asset)
  • Excellent communication skills; Fluent French and English (oral & written) required. This position requires daily communication to collaborate and exchange with suppliers and customers located outside the province of Québec where English is the primary language of business.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish or Arabic proficiency is an asset, as they will communicate on a regular basis with customers in various countries outside of the province of Québec/Canada.

Responsibilities

  • This role has a 50% inbound sales component / 50% admin and data entry component
  • Provide support to customers regarding products, services and policies
  • Assist customers utilizing the appropriate resources
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, features and industry trends
  • Create and process orders in a timely manner
  • Process customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prioritize administrative responsibilities
  • Suggest sales process enhancements
  • Work with the warehouse team to secure freight quotes and communicate shipping guidelines.
  • Reach out to the courier for assistance if shipments are delayed in customs and ensure any additional documentation is provided.
  • Engage with the regulatory and quality departments to gather the necessary documentation.
