About The Position

United National Life Company of America (UNL) is proud to provide supplemental insurance coverage to Americans throughout the country. If you are a team player who is passionate about customer service and looking for a company you can grow with, our Sales Support Representative could be the perfect match for you. This role reports to the Supervisor at UNL, and plays a key role on the UNL team by providing support to both our contracted/prospective agents as well as the sales team. This position is required to work on-site in our Chicagoland (Glenview, IL) office most days. Everyone receives 3 flexible remote days per month and 6 additional Friday PTO days each year!

Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially via phone
  • Service-focused, proactive, organized and excited about finding solutions
  • 1+ years of sales support and/or customer service experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • insurance industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assisting and interacting with existing and prospective agents via phone, and responding to daily inquiries via phone, email, and fax
  • Working as part of a small, collaborative, upbeat team while providing administrative support to management and peers
  • Other related duties and special projects as needed
