Position Summary and Responsibilities: The Sales Support Rep will work primarily in our customer retail locations to ensure Ben E. Keith products are optimally represented and competitively positioned. This position will cover sales routes, complete merchandising activities, and execute shelf resets at retail.

Requirements

  • Must be Sales Rep Certified (AB curriculum)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments
  • Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment
  • Must be highly motivated and results-oriented, with a strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must be 18 years old or older to apply
  • Ability to learn and effectively use the handheld sales unit
  • High school graduate or GED required
  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear

Responsibilities

  • Fill in for sales representatives as needed in compliance with all sales and GROW responsibilities.
  • Execute merchandising activities at retail (build displays, place POCM, etc.).
  • Execute shelf resets at retail in alignment with Sales, National Accounts, and Category Management direction.
  • Support all sales department activities as required.
  • Communicate all sales and merchandising opportunities or challenges to the Sales Support Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned (draft support, special events, etc.).
