About The Position

The Sales Support Intern shall work in partnership with the Sales Team to present and sell company products and services via e-commerce channels and direct to consumer channels. This includes supporting order fulfillment of multiple online stores: and digital marketplaces and any consumers using product for personal consumption, and/or businesses and non-profit organizations who seek to purchase our affordable renewed Apple technology.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience in the consumer electronics field preferred but not required
  • Demonstrate substantial experience or a willingness to learn how to process orders on e-commerce platform
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support the 24 x 7 nature of e-commerce retail on an as needed basis
  • Knowledge and experience using computers, including Microsoft office products and other e-commerce platforms
  • Experience working within a Sales Team and processing orders
  • High enthusiasm towards learning about new wireless products, devices and technology trends
  • Basic understanding of new and refurbished Apple products and the marketplaces in which they are sold
  • Energetic and self-motivated with a strong drive for sales and performance management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to persuade and influence others; strong negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to meet customer needs and close sales
  • Strong organization and time-management skills; ability to maintain a fluctuating workload and varied job tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and judgment skills
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of how to process a customer return properly or a willingness to learn how to do so
  • Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple e-commerce platform orders
  • Willingness to develop a skill set in providing management with sell-through and market research reports regarding the pricing of refurbished Apple products across multiple sales channels.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day hands-on processing of Diamond Assets’ sales orders and/or products on e-commerce platforms or community sales. Assist with product presentation (listing products and inventory), product marketing strategy, pricing and adjusting all these as often as needed
  • Work with the Product Sales Manager to Establish necessary direct relationship with e-commerce retailers to feature Diamond Assets products on their platforms (I.E. Weekly daily deal submissions)
  • Support forecasting needs across all e-commerce channels
  • Assist in analyzing sell throughput on an individual SKU level
  • Assist in generating and implement new initiatives to increase B2C sales and profitability
  • Assist in Establishing and monitoring prices for all products in all e-commerce channels
  • Monitoring of and reporting to Product Sales manager market changes in pricing and sell through rates of renewed Apple products across multiple e-commerce platforms.
  • Work in partnership with the Sales Team to process returns of product with our finance and operations team
  • Maintain a keen awareness of our competition to study what works and what does not
  • Assist in the preparation of action plans and schedules to identify specific targets, and potential sales volumes
  • Assist the Product Sales Manager in preparing reports for management to analyze results and make educated decisions
  • Secondary customer support as need for both technical and transactional via e-commerce platforms or other tools
  • Consistently demonstrate imitative in finding and machining recommendations to the Product Sales Manager about the viability of new B to C sales channels and/or B to B business opportunities for our company
  • Assist the Product Sales Team with RMA requests across all e-commerce platforms and wholesale orders as needed.
  • Monitor and appropriately respond to buyer messages within e-commerce platforms and/or assist 3rd party consultants who assist Diamond Assets in monitoring consumer messages and RMA requests.
