About The Position

Nelson & Company, a member of the AIR Control Concepts family, designs and installs engineered HVAC solutions for commercial customers. They are seeking a Sales Support Engineer to support their efforts in creating value and a great customer experience by ensuring the development of the right solutions within customer constraints. This role involves working alongside Sales Engineers on quoting, equipment selection, submittals, and pricing, balancing technical precision with business speed. Requirements

Technical or engineering background, including demonstrated ability to understand and communicate concepts in a technical field
Strong organizational and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines consistently
A desire to grow into a Sales Engineer role

Nice To Haves

Construction or mechanical engineering work experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD or a similar drafting/design program
Experience working in a complex or technical sales environment

Responsibilities

Working with Sales Engineers to develop quotes and make equipment selections from project plans and specifications
Assisting in the development of submittals and supporting project documentation
Pricing HVAC equipment and parts accurately and in a timely manner
Coordinating with vendors and internal team members to gather technical and pricing information
Managing multiple active quotes and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Supporting the sales team with technical documentation, product information, and customer correspondence
