About The Position

The VeriSight Clinical Specialist will represent Philips’ VeriSight Pro 3D ICE (Intracardiac Echo Catheter) to Interventional Cardiologists and Electrophysiologists. This is a new sales and clinical team to commercialize Philips' VeriSight Pro 3D ICE catheter, which offers best-in-class 2D and 3D imaging by miniaturizing TEE imaging technology. The role involves building, maintaining, and providing technical and clinical product support, systems support, and education to healthcare providers. The specialist will partner with Regional & Territory Managers and collaborate with various Philips business segments to achieve business objectives. This role requires autonomy, initiative, motivation, clinical aptitude, a solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills. The specialist will become an expert in 3D ICE use, identify customer needs, support new product evaluations, provide clinical feedback, support clinical trials and educational events, and enhance customer case support capabilities through planning and scheduling. Maximizing hospital stakeholder engagement for educational awareness and support, including new program launches and physician/staff training, is also key.

Requirements

  • Registered or Certified Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography lab with relevant work experience within the IC/EP clinical environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical echocardiography lab.
  • Experience using Ultrasound consoles (Philips EPIQ).
  • Advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge of technology, advancements, and the business landscape.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of relevant professional work/military experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the medical device industry and associated product portfolios, preferably within structural heart and/or electrophysiology therapies market.
  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge, with the confidence to knowledgeably engage key stakeholders such as physicians, clinical staff, nurses, department managers and supply chain to present a value proposition.
  • Professional presence that influences desired results with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to determine customer needs and communicate needs to Field Sales and Marketing Teams.
  • Effective and timely communicator.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Willing and able to travel up to 75% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.

  • Must live in or within commuting distance to Denver CO with travel in all of Colorado and Utah.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and provide outstanding technical and clinical product support, systems support, and sustained education to health care providers (HCP) and allied health professionals (AHP) around the VeriSight platform.
  • Partner directly with the VeriSight Regional & Territory Managers and collaborate with Philips Ultrasound, Image Guided Therapy Systems & Devices, Training & Education, Field Service Engineers, and Field Management business segments.
  • Demonstrate high levels of autonomy, individual initiative, and motivation to achieve individual and shared goals.
  • Develop a solutions-oriented selling and educational mindset.
  • Become an expert on 3D ICE use in multiple clinical procedure types and use consultative education techniques to identify potential customer needs, support, and opportunities within assigned geographies.
  • Support the evaluation of new products and provide clinical feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support for company-sponsored clinical/marketing trials, registries, and educational events.
  • Consistently work to improve clinical acumen, competitive product knowledge, customer relationship / sales / education skills.
  • Maximize hospital stakeholder engagement pre / intra / post case support to drive optimal VeriSight educational awareness and support – including new program launches, physician and staff training.
