About The Position
The Sales Support Associate helps ensure an organized, efficient, customer-ready store by managing deliveries, maintaining accurate stock, and supporting daily floor replenishment and operational standards. The role supports Kate Spade New York’s retail operations and customer service in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is flexible to meet business needs and may include nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays. The position requires regularly lifting at least 25 lbs (and occasionally up to 50 lbs), as well as climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering around the sales floor and stockroom.
Requirements
- Previous retail service experience and a passion for retail and the service industry.
- Excellent client service and communication skills, including the ability to maneuver the sales floor and engage multiple customers.
- Strong communication skills and an elevated sense of personal style.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English language proficiency (for EU).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate.
- Ability to multi-task, remain results-driven, and adapt to change.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process inbound deliveries promptly, and monitor and prioritize daily workload.
- Organize and maintain accessible merchandise in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
- Maintain knowledge of stock levels, unit counts, and sales performance.
- Support floor moves and keep the selling floor stocked throughout the day.
- Execute price changes and markdowns as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across the selling floor, stockroom, and offsite/warehouse.
- Audit compliance and work toward achieving shrinkage goals.
