Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Energy, or related field.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical inputs into clear, compelling customer‑focused messages.
  • Proficiency in developing visual content and presentations; experience with PowerPoint, graphic design tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize market information, incentives, and industry data to inform sales strategy.
  • Comfort working across multiple functions and gathering inputs from engineering, sales, and project development teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to standardize content for repeat use.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours on occasion, as required, to meet proposal deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting sales, marketing, research, or business development functions preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and synthesize technical, financial, and strategic inputs from engineering, project development, and sales teams into cohesive, compelling proposal content.
  • Develop clear, value‑driven narratives that communicate ROI, decarbonization impact, risk mitigation, and alignment with customer objectives.
  • Standardize and maintain reusable proposal content, reducing preparation time for the sales team.
  • Create high‑quality visual sales materials including PowerPoints, infographics, and one‑page sell sheets for Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs).
  • Translate complex engineering concepts into customer‑friendly visuals and messages that support effective storytelling.
  • Ensure all customer‑facing materials align with Trane Technologies branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Design and maintain standard deliverables such as audit summaries, conceptual project descriptions, and proposal templates, improving consistency across the region.
  • Reduce engineering and project development time spent on formatting and content creation by building reusable assets.
  • Conduct market, client, and incentive research using industry tools and public datasets to identify opportunities, trends, funding mechanisms, and customer insights.
  • Provide research‑driven recommendations that support go‑to‑market strategies and help prioritize high‑potential prospects.
  • Support account executives and engineers by enhancing proposal response times and elevating the professionalism of all customer‑facing materials.
  • Contribute to improved pipeline velocity, enhanced competitive positioning, and increased win rates through strong sales enablement capabilities.
