About The Position

The Sales Support Analyst II is responsible for managing the setup and preparation of retail electricity and gas bids using internal sales management tools. This role involves collaborating with ENGIE Resources sales personnel, customers, and brokers to obtain accurate customer pricing and contract execution requirements. The analyst will proactively manage pricing requests from partners and direct sales across all ENGIE Resources service areas, prioritizing tasks to ensure the complete and accurate setup for timely delivery of pricing proposals. Additionally, the role includes researching and assisting in the resolution of channel conflicts between affected parties, maintaining accuracy and data quality in the internal CRM system, and assisting with pre-deal support activities. Effective communication with internal business units and external partners is crucial for addressing issues such as prioritization, revisions of requests, and confirmation of legal contracting entities and account numbers. The Opportunity set-up process for each pricing request will be completed using internal CRM and applicable databases and tools to enable timely bid responses. The role also contributes to identifying effective process improvements and training new employees.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the retail electricity industry or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work as an effective team player in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Self-directed, able to learn business processes and new products quickly.
  • Ability to comply with all ENGIE Resources North America policies and procedures.
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the setup and preparation of retail electricity and gas bids using internal sales management tools.
  • Collaborate with ENGIE Resources sales personnel, customers, and brokers to obtain accurate customer pricing and contract execution requirements.
  • Proactively manage pricing requests from partners and direct sales across all ENGIE Resources service areas, leveraging organizational skills to prioritize tasks and ensure the complete and accurate setup for timely delivery of pricing proposals.
  • Research and assist in the resolution of channel conflicts between affected parties.
  • Assist Engie Resources sales team in maintaining the accuracy and data quality in the internal CRM system.
  • Assist Engie Resources sales team in pre-deal support activities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal business units and external partners to address issues such as but not limited to prioritization and revisions of requests, legal contracting entity and account number confirmation.
  • Complete Opportunity set-up process for each pricing request using internal CRM system and applicable databases and tools to enable the Sales Team to generate timely bid responses.
  • Help to identify effective process improvements.
  • Train new employees.
