About The Position

The Strategy & Planning Intern is responsible for supporting the CS&E Team related to sales activation activities, execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the team’s attainment of business goals. They are responsible for maintaining internal reports using Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, and other internal systems. They will assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, samples, and product cuttings, as well as any other project needs or ad hoc requests of the SS&P teams. Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for exposure to: Sales, Business Unit, Innovation, and Supply Chain. This position will report to the Innovation CS&E Manager, while also directly supporting the broader CS&E team. For consideration, you must reside within a 60-mile radius of our corporate office. Requirements

  • Incoming Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or MBA with at least one year of school remaining required
  • Business, Finance, Supply Chain or Animal Science majors preferred
  • Previous work experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including outlook, and basic understanding on internet
  • Must be able to communicate effectively; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be a motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Time management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must live within 60 miles of the facility
