Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student in good standing with at least one year of school remaining.
  • Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related majors preferred.
  • Previous work experience in any field required; experience related to Supply Chain or within the internship discipline strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills required; familiarity with Access, Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Solid communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multitask, observe and understand processes, and work independently or in teams.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and interest in a full-time career with Tyson Foods.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours during the summer and 15–20 hours during the school year as classes allow.
  • Students must live within a commutable distance (60 miles or less).
  • Resume must include expected graduation date and area of study.
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with plant analysis including weekly percentage inventory vs. target planning, raw material utilization, and current inventory positions.
  • Perform data entry, validation, and daily reporting/analysis.
  • Support UAT testing on new systems and assist with online/offline project tasks.
  • Contribute to impactful projects that develop critical skills and provide valuable insights.
  • Communicate with and support cross-functional leaders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
