About The Position

We are looking for undergraduates who excel at working hard and enjoy receiving recognition for their success. Students who are motivated by the financial commissions that can be earned will excel by simply gaining the confidence of callers to sign them up for our help. Throughout this internship, you will build your prospecting skills and knowledge related to Allsup’s business.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate working towards a bachelor's degree
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment while navigating multiple complex software programs using a variety of resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written professional communication skills
  • A high level of initiative and drive to succeed, coupled with an ability to independently problem solve.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience sales or customer service-related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage inbound and outbound calls to potential customers with the goal of assessing eligibility, educating them about the advantages of utilizing Allsup’s services, and signing them up to work with Allsup.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking type of work environment.
  • Navigate conversations to focus on selling Allsup services, answering questions, resolving concerns and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate tact and diplomacy in handling problem solving situations.
  • Have the ability to learn complex government programs and Allsup processes, in a remote training environment.
  • Enjoy helping customers over the phone, in a dedicated computer desk workspace that is free from distractions.
