About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a Collison Customer Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by leading sales efforts across all 3M brands/products into the collision repair segment of the US Automotive Aftermarket Division, implementing sales programs, plans and policies as agreed upon with direct supervisor, determining priorities, frequencies, and call patterns to be most effective and productive, supporting St. Paul and regional programs and initiatives, and creating business plans for end users and solutions to everyday problems. You will also track all activities in 3M CRM tool.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution with one (1) year sales and/or Automotive Aftermarket industry experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) with two (2) or more years of Sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales efforts across all 3M brands/products into the collision repair segment of the US Automotive Aftermarket Division
  • Implement sales programs, plans and policies as agreed upon with direct supervisor
  • Determine priorities, frequencies, and call patterns to be most effective and productive
  • Support St. Paul and regional programs and initiatives
  • Create business plans for end users and solutions to everyday problems
  • Track all activities in 3M CRM tool
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties
  • Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement
