About The Position

LSEG and Microsoft have entered an exciting strategic partnership for the development of next-generation data, analytics and cloud infrastructure solutions. Our customers’ needs are evolving and so are financial markets! This partnership will transform the way customers discover, analyze and trade securities around the world. It will also advance our cloud strategy and build the improved resilience, efficiency and agility that our customers need. This Sales role is key in leading the business into the potential of its future state – as a core member of the agile Analytics Sales team, you will have excellent senior management exposure within LSEG and will have great autonomy in selling Analytics solutions. As part of the Analytics Sales Team, you will seek new prospects and opportunities with new and existing customers. Collaborating with account management will be instrumental in identifying customer needs so that we can focus on solution selling. Your market feedback will be critical in shaping the business strategy as we look to identify thematic challenges our customers are facing, so that we can develop and deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and selling software solutions to financial institutions (asset managers, banks, broker dealers, hedge funds)
  • Working knowledge of fixed income analytics
  • Demonstrated expertise with some or all of the following: risk management or portfolio management analytics, valuation, structured finance, fixed income trading platforms, RMBS, CLOs
  • Software Skills: Proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint
  • Proven communicator comfortable running discussions and building relationships with various stakeholders at financial institutions
  • Some travel required 25%
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of revenue goals through sales growth, cross selling, and commercial policy developments
  • Lead sales strategy with a view toward extending current footprint as well as opening new opportunities in new behavioral models (CMBS, Nonagency RMBS, etc.) loan level data, and CLOs, as well as future strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with analytics solutions, product management, and marketing teams to ensure market intelligence, competitor analysis and market trends / conditions are captured and monitored
  • Lead responsibility for crafting product, relationship, and marketing strategies as well as commercial policies.
  • Proactively build and run your sales pipeline to ensure quarterly and annual revenue attainment
  • Creation and execution of quarterly business plans
  • Execution of go to market plans as well as increasing brand and product awareness through events, webinars, outreach.
