You'll meet with homeowners, assess their needs, recommend solutions, and occasionally perform minor repairs or adjustments when needed. No prior garage door experience is required—we provide the training, tools, and support necessary to help you succeed. Requirements

  • Experience building relationships, serving customers, and helping people find solutions.
  • Candidates with experience in Hospitality and guest services, Automotive service advising, Automotive sales, Home improvement sales, Retail management, Customer service leadership, Restaurant management, Territory sales or outside sales, Property management, Service-based businesses are encouraged to apply.
  • Naturally personable and enjoys meeting new people.
  • Comfortable educating customers and making recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to residential service calls and provide homeowners with a professional, five-star customer experience.
  • Inspect garage doors and openers to identify issues and determine the most appropriate solution.
  • Educate homeowners on repair and replacement options, helping them make informed decisions based on their needs, budget, and long-term goals.
  • Present customized recommendations for garage door and opener solutions when repair may not be the most beneficial long-term option.
  • Build trust and credibility with homeowners through honest communication and exceptional service.
  • Serve as a consultant and resource for customers throughout the service experience.
  • Perform basic garage door repairs and hardware replacements (training provided).
  • Complete minor adjustments and maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately document service calls, recommendations, and completed work.
  • Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance.
  • Manage daily schedules and appointments efficiently.
  • Represent the Garage Kings brand with professionalism and integrity at all times.
