About The Position

The Sales and Revenue Coordinator supports the Director of Sales, Assistant Director of Sales, Director of Revenue, & Commercial Director with reporting & administrative tasks related to Sales, Marketing & Revenue throughout the hotel. This role has dual reporting to the Director of Sales and Director of Revenue.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with PMS (OPERA), Salesforce (Golden Sales & Catering), Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, TravelClick, STR, Ideas and other business analytic tools such as Adobe analytics, Power BI for reservations.
  • Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Compiling of reports for Commercial Team as follows: Daily: revenue pickup report, status change reporting, turndown reports, market production and history reports and reservations entered reports. Weekly: Pace Reporting, group pickup meeting preparation, and pipeline report. Monthly: group & travel industry month end reporting. Annual: Territory reporting for goal setting. Ad hoc report requests.
  • Assist DORM and CD in compiling presentation decks for monthly, weekly and ad hoc meetings.
  • Group attrition reporting & attrition database management for supporting Managers.
  • Complete daily sales administrative tasks such as setting up amenities, merging proposals / contracts /addendums, routing turnovers for confirmed business, sending Canary links, assigning leads, answering inquiry lines for Commercial Department, and email coverage for Commercial Coordinators and ADOS when needed.
  • Send out site inspection forms and ensure showrooms and meeting space are ready for client viewing in partnership with Hotel Operations Team.
  • Group Definite turnover review to ensure accurate inventory management and controls.
  • Maintain all sales files according to established procedures and standards.
  • Golden Sales & Catering Administrative duties such as compliance with corporate standards, entering events/group bookings, managing contract templates, and interface management.
  • Ensure accuracy of information in Golden Sales & Catering (Salesforce), edit and audit Golden related reports, and maintain up-to-date tools.
  • Cover the essential functions of revenue management in the absence of the DORM – run & update forecast report with input from CD, run and update yield strategy sheet with input from CD, monitor reservation pickup, update rate code yielding in PMS, ensure compression date monitoring is in place.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects in relation to corporate requests, Marketing Plan / budget seasons, pilot projects and revenue strategy initiatives.
  • Submits daily revenue information to STR for benchmark reporting.
  • Support on special projects assigned to the Commercial Team.
