About The Position

Konare Law is seeking a visionary Sales & Retention Manager to guide our client intake and retention operations. This is a hands-on, working manager role who coaches daily and owns pipeline outcomes, balancing active involvement in consultations with leadership of the intake and retention team to drive conversion, revenue, and client satisfaction. As both a strategist and team leader, you will oversee the client intake and retention teams, optimize the consultation process, and develop data-driven strategies that align with the firm’s broader financial and business development goals. Your leadership will ensure high client conversion rates, exceptional client experiences, and consistent achievement of revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Legal Studies, or a related field (degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client intake/retention, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment.
  • 2–3 years of leadership experience managing sales or client success teams.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, conversion, or retention goals.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate lead sources, conversion trends, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-impact sales strategies that consistently convert qualified leads into long-term clients.
  • Oversee and refine the consultation process to ensure professionalism, empathy, and legal expertise.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to identify growth opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Design and execute initiatives to improve client satisfaction and reduce churn.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in retainer execution.
  • Foster long-term client relationships that reflect the firm’s values and service standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 10+ intake and retention specialists across multiple locations.
  • Set clear performance expectations, track KPIs, and provide regular feedback.
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings to review progress, resolve challenges, and refine strategies.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development.
  • Own and drive revenue goals tied to contract values and client conversion rates.
  • Align sales and retention efforts with the firm’s financial strategy and staffing capacity.
  • Monitor lead sources and conversion trends, using data to inform decisions and optimize resources.
  • Partner with executive leadership on long-term business development strategy.
