About The Position

Responsible for providing a superior customer service experience to all walk-in customers. This role involves in-person sales, parts identification using inventory software, processing transactions via POS systems, coordinating with parts pullers, managing merchandising and displays, and handling core and returns. The position also includes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service background.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • High School or G.E.D. Equivalent preferred.
  • College coursework desired.
  • Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
  • Two to three years of prior customer service relations preferred.
  • Ability to establish priorities and demonstrate effective time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate, high-quality service to all walk-in retail and wholesale customers.
  • Use inventory software to help customers find exact matches for their vehicles with the vehicles on-site.
  • Actively manage the front counter area, processing cash and credit transactions using POS systems.
  • Communicate directly with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers that want the company to pull their parts for them.
  • Set up and maintain physical displays of popular parts (e.g., batteries, fluids, tools) to drive impulse sales.
  • Inspect physical parts returned by walk-in customers to verify condition and process credits or warranty claims.
