Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or GED required
  • 3 + of Tele-sales/business development experience (required)
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Distributor sales type industry experience
  • Strong organization skills, comfortable with inside sales position with high call volume environment.
  • Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Consultant to customers requiring solutions for touchless technology, plumbing parts, air filtration, etc.
  • Consistent cold calling/Tele-sales on customers to influence buying through eCommerce or direct means
  • Manages customer relationship as a repeatable business for follow up
  • Develops quotes and proposals to meet customer requirements based on need
  • Ability to upsell and influence buying decisions with multiple product offerings
  • Creates new business activity by planning and organizing daily schedule calling on existing and potential customers while recognizing new streams of revenue
  • Collaborates with our supplier base to stay current on all price lists and product literature/developments
  • Keeps management informed by submitting reports on results and activity
  • Solves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge of touchless and gesture technology, establishing personal networks and works with supply chain to expand product offering
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed to include, vendor/manufacturer contact, building channel partner relationships, etc.
  • Prepare for installation of the project.
  • Prepare material list for job
  • Set up job planning (turn over meeting) with supervisor and crew leader.
  • Assist in preparation of paperwork for permitting
  • Check projects as they are being installed.
  • Assist in preparation of change orders for change in scope on projects.
  • Follow up with customers after project is completed.
  • Assist in collection of invoicing for sold completed projects.
  • Prepare weekly reports of projects bid and contracts signed.
