About The Position

Regal Wine Company, a luxury wine distributor, is seeking a Sales Representative for its On-Premise Regal Division. The company prides itself on exceptional service, a world-class wine portfolio, and a commitment to employee development for long-term careers. This role is responsible for achieving sales goals within an assigned territory, providing wine education, building relationships with management and supplier partners, and driving new business. The position requires managing accounts receivable, communicating information between stakeholders, and continuously developing professional skills. Adaptability and responsiveness to change are also key attributes for this role. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience required; wine sales experience preferred.
  • Available to work flexible hours, Monday to Friday, and occasional weekends for special events.
  • Ability to travel within California up to 6 times per year, out of the territory, for education and training.
  • Able to repetitively lift a minimum of 50 lbs; be able to bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and lift repetitively.
  • Must possess a current driver’s license; maintain current auto insurance and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals within assigned territory, including new placements, case, and revenue goals.
  • Provide educational wine training to accounts and staff through tastings, seminars, and special events.
  • Develop and continue to build relationships with Regal Wine Company Management and supplier partners.
  • Maintain and grow the territory and drive new business.
  • Prioritize and preplan daily for each account to maximize efficiency and territory growth.
  • Construct unique wine presentations that embrace Regal Wine Company standards, programs, and initiatives.
  • Grow and foster professional relationships with key accounts in assigned territory.
  • Manage account receivable.
  • Communicate pertinent information between management, accounts, and marketplace.
  • Continue to develop wine knowledge, business acumen and sales skills to increase professional acumen.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to change quickly.
  • Other duties as assigned by District Manager or Regional Manager.
