Requirements

  • Strong sales and customer relationship skills with the ability to build rapport and drive performance.
  • Knowledge of lottery products, retailer operations, and sales preferred best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and iPad-based applications such as Sales Wizard.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive or escalated retailer issues.
  • Ability to maintain security alertness, follow office procedure/protocols and handle confidential information.
  • Capable of working independently while maintaining strong accountability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet sales goals and maximize return.

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 years’ experience in route sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers to achieve and exceed territory sales goals.
  • Conduct regular retailer visits to analyze sales performance, review game inventory, and provide product training for revolving staff, and give promotional updates.
  • Manage instant ticket inventory, facilitate activations, and ensure optimal product mix to maximize sales and minimize out-of-stocks while addressing shipping errors and ticket order issues.
  • Utilize Sales Wizard daily to document retailer visits, service activities, inventory levels, and sales notes.
  • Monitor vending machine performance (TVMs and SCIQ systems), ensuring planogram compliance and product availability of various price points and play styles.
  • Support retailers with contract renewals, terminations, ownership changes, and compliance documentation.
  • Organize and execute in-store promotions and player education events to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Recruit and qualify new retailers by identifying high-potential locations and assisting with application completion.
