About The Position

Sterling Crane LLC, a part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings (backed by Berkshire Hathaway), is seeking a Sales Representative for the Midland, TX area. Sterling Crane USA has been a leader in the heavy lift industry since 1954, offering crane rentals, sales, parts, and service with a large inventory of modern lifting equipment. This role is responsible for sales and customer service, contributing to the company's growth and success within the dynamic opportunities of a U.S.-based company, supported by the strength of Marmon and Berkshire Hathaway.

Requirements

High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
1+ year crane sales experience required.
Intermediate computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Sales Training or relevant crane experience
Established Accounts Preferred
3D Lift Plan experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains a safe working environment by ensuring all employees understand and follow all required Sterling safety policies and procedures.
Provides detailed site surveys/job walks to determine crane requirements.
Provides timely quotations for clients based on site surveys and/or client requests, offering input to improve quality and value.
Communicates all requirements as per job quotation and client needs to the Dispatcher, working closely to ensure successful job completion.
Maintains exceptional customer relations through effective communication.
Ensures customer issues or concerns receive prompt responses.
Routinely seeks customer feedback and incorporates the data into strategies and action plans.
Identifies and develops new opportunities.
Strictly adheres to company administrative policies (Sales calls, quote follow-up, credit checks, etc.).
Performs due diligence on client’s credit worthiness, ensuring timely payment within agreed terms and conditions.
Shows continuous year-over-year growth to the company's revenue line.
Other duties as assigned.
