You're not chasing cold leads or pitching strangers — you're walking the same stores week after week, building the kind of relationships where a store manager calls you before they call anyone else. At Virginia Eagle Distributing (VED), our Sales Representatives carry some of the most recognized brands in the world into every corner of their territory. VED is one of Virginia's top beverage distributors, and our Charlottesville team is looking for someone who's competitive, credible, and ready to own a market. You'll manage a defined book of retail accounts, grow volume and distribution, and work hand-in-hand with a delivery and merchandising team that backs you up every single day. Requirements

• Valid Virginia driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR check required)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Self-starter who can manage a territory independently and hit deadlines without being chased
• Strong communicator — you build rapport fast with store managers, buyers, and teammates

Nice To Haves

• college degree preferred
• Pivot Tables a plus
• Sales, beverage distribution, or account management experience is a plus, not a requirement
• Available for flexible hours during peak business periods

Responsibilities

• Own a defined territory of on-premise and/or off-premise retail accounts on an established call schedule
• Sell VED's full portfolio — beer, RTDs, and non-alcoholic beverages — and hit volume, distribution, and display goals
• Execute new item sell-in, promotional programs, and pricing as directed; communicate completion and any barriers
• Build and maintain dominant display and shelf presence at every account
• Conduct regular account business reviews and keep account records current in VED and supplier platforms
• Coordinate daily with delivery drivers and merchandisers on displays, special deliveries, and POS
• Track and report competitive pricing, promotions, and new placements within your territory
