About The Position

Join a collaborative sales team at one of the largest signage distributors in North America and help grow our Chicago market. You'll be the go-to person helping cities, contractors, and businesses get the essential products they need to operate. This is a sales role focused on phone-based relationship building with some in-person meetings, all team-oriented. You'll work alongside teammates who share goals and wins together, with a mix of inside selling, customer visits, and consultative problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years in sales, customer service, or a related customer-facing role
  • Someone who builds rapport quickly and isn't afraid to pick up the phone
  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-selling environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for customer visits (mileage reimbursement provided)

Responsibilities

  • B2B Sales (inside & outside)
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships through calls, visits, and consultative selling
  • Prospecting and developing new accounts while growing existing ones
  • Collaborating with your team on shared sales goals - this is a team-based environment, not a sink or swim set-up
  • Conducting on-site visits and product demos when it makes sense for the customer
  • Learning a product portfolio that customers genuinely depend on
