About The Position

The Sales Representative will represent Nongshim to customers with the goal of building strong partnerships, securing new distribution opportunities, and expanding existing product placements. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle from order creation to fulfillment, customer relationship management, and market intelligence gathering. The representative will also execute promotions, conduct sales calls, and provide general office support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, basic business etiquette, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint required
  • 1+ Sales Field Experience preferred
  • Ability to travel
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Represent Nongshim to customers with the goal of building strong partnerships, securing new distribution opportunities, and expanding existing product placements.
  • Create and process sales orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions in the system.
  • Monitor Goods Issue (GI) and Goods Receipt (GR) processes to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with warehouses and customers to resolve delivery issues and confirm successful receipt of goods.
  • Manage customer invoicing, shipment schedules, accounts receivable aging, and resolve invoice deductions to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Conduct sales calls and meetings with HQ buyers, retailers, and wholesale customers to introduce Nongshim products and new items.
  • Execute promotions, marketing initiatives, and merchandising at both HQ and store levels.
  • Secure purchase orders from existing customers and actively seek new business opportunities.
  • Collect and report market intelligence, including customer feedback, competitor activities, and industry trends.
  • Research market trends and analyze potential business partnerships to support sales growth.
  • Provide general office operations support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
