Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license. Motor vehicle record must be within the parameters set by company management.
  • Ability to travel within sales territory daily; willingness and ability to travel beyond territory as needed.
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of territory or be willing to relocate at own expense.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales objectives; competitive and motivated to generate sales.
  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Analytical mindset to assess situations and develop strategies that align with company goals.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changes and challenges.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to achieving and maintaining high-quality products and services.
  • Results and deadline focused; takes ownership for territory performance.
  • Brings a tenacious, competitive spirit and has the ability to think outside the box to achieve success.
  • Skills in reasoning, problem solving, negotiation and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the sportswear, sporting goods, screen printing and/or embroidery field(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of the Company's product line, including decorating techniques, and stay informed about competitive products.
  • Drive sales growth through the development of new accounts and the maintenance of existing ones within the designated sales territory.
  • Take proactive initiatives to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, demonstrating a keen eye for potential business prospects.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and competitive approach to achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Secure new accounts by meticulously planning and organizing daily work schedules, making effective calls and visits to prospects.
  • Provide exceptional service to existing accounts, promptly addressing issues that require resolution to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to reach "hard-to-see" customers and potential clients.
  • Attends clinics, trade shows, and exhibitions to actively contribute to the introduction, promotion, and sales of the Company's product lines.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Art, Customer Relations, and Production, to address issues as necessary.
  • Participates actively in scheduled Company sales meetings to share insights, updates, and collaborate on strategies for enhanced sales performance.
  • Provide valuable ideas and suggestions for innovative sales strategies and techniques, contributing to the overall growth of the territory and the Company.
  • Ensure adherence to and compliance with all Company policies and procedures to maintain integrity and ethical business practices.
  • Be willing to undertake other related duties as assigned to meet sales objectives.
