About The Position

A socially conscious company is seeking a Sales Representative to support programs in Manhattan and the Bronx. This dynamic role blends B2B sales, account management, and relationship building to help connect job seekers with meaningful employment opportunities. The ideal candidate has a sales-oriented mindset, enjoys networking and building partnerships, and is motivated by both achieving goals and making a direct impact on individuals’ career success. This role is temporary to permanent, with an anticipated salary of $50-$60k for the permanent role, after a 4-month temp period.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma required
  • 2-4 years of sales experience required (commission-based sales strongly preferred)
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation, customer service and closing skills
  • Proven ability to do cold outreach, follow-ups and/or performance reviews with customers
  • Goal-oriented and motivated by incentives

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and reach out to employers to identify job opportunities
  • Build and manage relationships with employer partners
  • Match candidates to open roles and secure job placements
  • Support candidates with resumes, interview prep, and job readiness
  • Schedule interviews and follow up with candidates and employers
  • Generate referrals and repeat business from employer partners
  • Conduct employer visits to maintain relationships and identify new roles
  • Meet placement goals and performance targets
  • Manage daily outreach, meetings, and follow-ups
  • Maintain professionalism and motivate clients toward employment
