This is a remote position, based out of Houston or Dallas, focusing on the Industrial sector within the South-Central USA (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana). Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years successful direct business to business sales experience in business to business (industrial market product or service sales experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills, detailed oriented, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • A high degree of communication, supervisory, organizational and management skills are required.
  • Experience in performing presentations to management level personnel required.
  • Communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with clients, peers and management.
  • Understanding of target companies purchasing and decision-making processes.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft office tools.
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel (60-70% travel required).
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective presentations.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market trends, anomalies and opportunities.
  • Effective negotiator.
  • Adapt to various situations quickly, while adhering to multiple daily deadlines.
  • A strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build credibility and establish relationships quickly with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key Distributor partners and end-user stakeholders to specify and secure Watson Gloves solutions in key applications and projects.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with national and regional channel partners.
  • Develop and manage a Territory Plan for each Major Account to drive corporate and local opportunities with each client.
  • Partner closely with Sales Managers, Regional Sales Representatives, and channel partners to strengthen account relationships and coordinate customer engagement strategies.
  • Individually responsible for developing relationships, identifying opportunities, coordinating the quotation of services, working with Channel Sales Management and local Sales Representatives on pricing strategies, closing business, and handling follow up on any customer issues with these accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of account activity, sales opportunities, forecasts, and customer interactions through CRM and internal reporting systems.
  • Coordinate with Product Development on New Products with the goal of servicing Major Accounts and their needs.
  • Develop key relationships at each account and improve partnerships with the client in an effort to create and define a clear value proposition as to why Watson Gloves provides the greatest value to the client.
  • Hold strategic discussions with assigned accounts and prospects that help us to better understand their needs and position us for future growth and a differentiated value proposition.
  • Form successful working relationships with but not limited to Health and Safety Officers, Procurement Managers, Purchasers, Managers and Field Workers and ensure complete customer satisfaction at all levels.
  • Develop and present proposals while maintaining and updating account proposal activity through monthly Key Performance Indicator meetings to accurately reflect 100% of the outstanding potential for the month.
  • Provide monthly reporting on all accounts during monthly Key Performance Indicator meetings.
  • Provide leadership for management by continuously energizing the effort for moving new potential opportunities through the sales cycle in a professional, passionate, and engaging manner.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
