About The Position

For over 60 years, our organization has partnered with members of over 40,000 unions, associations, and professional groups across North America, serving individuals and families such as teachers, firefighters, veterans, and nurses. Many employer-provided benefits can change or end upon retirement or job separation. Our function is to engage with members who have expressed interest through their union or association, helping them comprehend the supplemental benefit programs available. As a representative, you will conduct virtual meetings with members, understand their unique situations, explain coverage options clearly, address inquiries, and guide them in understanding potential qualifications for various options. Our virtual service model enables representatives to assist families remotely while advancing their careers from the comfort of their homes.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good organization and time-management abilities
A professional and dependable approach
Comfort communicating with clients virtually
The ability to work independently and stay motivated
A willingness to learn and follow an established process
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Customer service, retail, or other people-focused experience is an asset but not required
Post-secondary education is welcomed but not required
Previous industry experience is not necessary. Training and ongoing support are provided to help qualified candidates learn the role and develop the skills needed to succeed.
