About The Position

Our client is a well-established leader in the frozen seafood industry, offering a premium portfolio of products including Shrimp, Salmon, Crab, Swai, Tilapia, Lobster, and Scallops. They are committed to delivering high-quality seafood solutions to both Retail Grocery and National Restaurant Chain markets on a national scale. We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Sales Representative to join our client's team, reporting to their Seattle office . This is a hunter role — ideal for a self-motivated sales professional ready to build and grow new business relationships on a national level across Retail Grocery and/or National Restaurant Chains.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in frozen seafood sales is strongly preferred; experience with any seafood product will be considered.
  • Established contacts within Retail Grocery and/or National Restaurant Chains is highly desirable.
  • Experience selling or managing a Seafood Program is a plus; training is available for the right candidate.
  • Demonstrated ability to hunt for new business and build client relationships from the ground up.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively on a national sales territory with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to report to and collaborate with the Seattle-based office.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and develop new business relationships with Retail Grocery accounts and/or National Restaurant Chains on a national scale.
  • Leverage existing industry contacts to generate new sales opportunities within the seafood category.
  • Present and sell a comprehensive frozen seafood program, including Shrimp, Salmon, Crab, Swai, Tilapia, Lobster, and Scallops.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and grow revenue.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, without reliance on inherited accounts or existing territories.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless program execution.
