The Sales Representative will participate with management in updating territory plans and setting sales goals. This role involves determining sales potential for new and existing customers, preparing and conducting sales presentations, and identifying customer requirements to recommend specific products. The representative will focus on increasing business by finding and qualifying new accounts, cross-selling, and up-selling. They will also learn and apply new product knowledge, assist clients with special requests and resolve problems, visit dealerships as needed, gather competitive information, prepare quotes, and communicate demand changes to the purchasing department. Additionally, the role includes assisting with inventory counts, staying current with local codes and consumer preferences, maintaining product and industry knowledge, practicing honesty and integrity, maintaining technical and computer skills, presenting a professional image, and participating in trade association functions. Ensuring work meets quality standards and production deadlines, along with regular attendance, are critical functions of this job.
